This lovely mixed media painting was inspired by all the beautiful red tulips I’m seeing around Flagstaff as spring is in the air. After a long winter, it’s always a welcome sight to see Spring flowers popping up all over northern Arizona, especially bright tulips coming up through the thawing ground. My mother is always especially excited as the first sign of Spring arrives in her garden.
