This beautiful, bright painting was inspired by a bowl of farm fresh turnips my daughter brought us one evening this past summer. She works on a small, local farm and often brings us the loveliest greens! I created this mixed media piece using a variety of collage papers I created earlier this year. The bright colors remind me of a warm summer sunset - this was so much fun to paint.
